Keeping your environment toasty

A fresh approach to heating

Teeth chattering as you watch TV? You’re one of the many. Cold homes are often damp too, and can trigger illnesses like unnecessary flus, asthma, and other respiratory conditions. It’s time to change your environment.

There are lots of ways to heat your home, but before you start heating, it’s about doing it efficiently. Energy is an expensive resource, so it makes sense to use it wisely.

Drying out the air in your home is the best start. From there it’s much easier and more efficient to heat. Take a look at how our HRV Ventilation system works

If you have an exisitng heat source, you can use our Heat Transfer system to balance the temperature in your home, transfering energy from one side to the other.

Ventilation

Dry air is the perfect foundation for heating, which is why ventilation is the key to helping us heat our homes more efficiently. There’s also a lot of existing heat in our homes that can be put to better use, just by ventilating that warm, dry air around the home. Our clever range of ventilation solutions make the most of these existing heat sources to sustainably warm your home environment.

We Love our HRV! No more wet windows so far this winter, and even better - our heating is so much more efficient. We have a flued gas heater in our lounge that never used to get past the door into the family room, now you can feel the warmth through the kitchen and into the family room. Dryer house? Positive pressure? Who knows it just works :-)

We got ours installed in February. i thought we probably wouldn't notice anything until Winter. It was really humid over Summer and the fabric on our couch and chairs felt wet. It dried out in about three weeks. We also haven't needed the heater on as much. When the gas heater is on I noticed it  doesn't need to go as often as the room is warmer.

After cleaning our only 2 y old curtains from mold we organised a visit from HRV.  My originally skeptical husband signed us up on the spot, and within days of installation the waterfalls on the windows had disappeared. Come this winter, we had moisture again until we switched back to winter settings - less than 12h later the windows were dry again! I recommend HRV to anyone!

Before we got an HRV system we had mold growing in our wardrobes and window sills. Not to mention the really bad condensation. Now we have HRV we don't get any of those problems. Its warm and dry in winter and more comfortable in summer Since we got HRV our family has seen the improvements it has made to the house and have all looked into getting it for themselves. It has truely made a difference.

The first thing we did when we bought our house in town was to install an HRV.  We have no condensation and best of all I don't get those annoying tickly throats that I used to get every winter.  We have less colds and coughs since getting the HRV.  When the roof gets hot the HRV blows the warm air into the house meaning that we don't have to use our heating as much.
