Thanks for having my system looked at so promptly. As I suspected, there was nothing to worry about, but there was no way that I was going to totally relax until I knew that the marks on the ceiling were not caused by any mechanical malfunction which may have been potentially hazardous.

Now that this is out of the way, I must repeat how delighted we are with the HRV system. I did a fair bit of detective work before deciding on HRV. I investigated the system of your main rival, and looked into things like motor size, usage costs, air flow and how often the air is changed, and most important to a technical illiterate like me, ease of use. HRV stood out well ahead of the rest, and the performance of my system throughout the winter has delighted me.

I have a two storied house with aluminium joinery and gas heating, and so my parts of the house are like a sauna during peak winter months. I replaced some curtains last year, and almost immediately the lining was ruined as a result of condensation. With your system this is no longer a problem and after all that we have experienced, this is simply amazing.
