We had an HRV system fitted in our home six months ago. It runs so quietly we forget it is even there.

However since we have had the system in our home the air seems fresher. Any cooking odours seem to dissipate much quicker rather than linger like they used to.

With a garden and large tree area surrounding our home we have a teenage daughter who suffered from hay fever all year round. This was the main reason for having the system fitted. Although our daughter still sneezes a couple of times first thing most mornings she does not sneeze during the day or night anymore. This means she gets an uninterrupted sleep now.

Our home requires very little heating even though we have very large areas of glass windows and doors. Also over the very hot weather we have had lately the temperature indoors seems to be more comfortable.
