Vortex Bathroom Extractor

In moisture-prone, damp areas, a Vortex extraction fan removes steam and condensation incredibly quickly. Extremely powerful, it’s perfect for wet areas like bathrooms and laundries. It’s also very efficient, extracting up to 550m3 of air per hour. This results in reduced condensation on windows and mirrors, prevents mould and stops moisture spreading through the home. The optional IntelliSwitch can also be set to run the Vortex for longer after the bathroom has been vacated.

Not too sure if this is the right product or model for you?

I have not had to wipe down a window since I had the HRV installed.  The condensation and damp feel is gone.  I have also not had an asthma attack since I had it put in so this tells me it is working.  The clothes in my cupboard are dry and mould free even right in the very back!!! Love it

After cleaning our only 2 y old curtains from mold we organised a visit from HRV.  My originally skeptical husband signed us up on the spot, and within days of installation the waterfalls on the windows had disappeared. Come this winter, we had moisture again until we switched back to winter settings - less than 12h later the windows were dry again! I recommend HRV to anyone!

The first thing we did when we bought our house in town was to install an HRV.  We have no condensation and best of all I don't get those annoying tickly throats that I used to get every winter.  We have less colds and coughs since getting the HRV.  When the roof gets hot the HRV blows the warm air into the house meaning that we don't have to use our heating as much.

Since we bought our place winters had been hard with build up of condensation on the ranch sliders. There would be tears and big puddles every morning during the winter months. It was that bad the build up of moisture in the house we would get mold on clothing in the bottom draws, shoes in the wardrobe and on the bottom of the curtains. We installed a heat pump when we moved in but that had no affect on the moisture build up. We had hear of HRV and thought how can it work during the winter months when there is very little heat in the day to heat the roof. . . But I got to eat my words. The moment it was fitted and turned on you could taste the cleaner, dryer air in the house and winter came around and the house has stayed dry ever since we had the system fitted. Cleaner, Dryer and Warmer air has made a big difference to our health and life. Even in the winter months A Bonus it will cool the house down during the hot muggy summer nights

I had a HRV installed 5 years ago in my 100 year old Villa and what a difference it has made.  No condensation on those cold mornings and fresh filtered air circulating daily.  No stuffy smell when you've been away for the weekend or even a couple of weeks and the security of not having to have any windows open.  Best thing I could have done for my family and home.

  • Moisture-prone problem areas like your bathroom require a slightly different form of ventilation and extraction to the rest of the home.
  • Rather than continually replacing moisture-laden air, in the bathroom the HRV Vortex removes the air entirely direct from the source.
  • It’s a powerful extractor fan that sits in the roof itself, and is capable of removing moisture from the entire bathroom, or other wet areas, quickly and efficiently – all while hardly making a sound.
  • The Vortex can also be set to run for longer with HRV’s IntelliSwitch, after the bathroom has been vacated.
  • This reduces condensation on windows and mirrors, prevents mould and stops moisture spreading through the home.
